British Airways (BA) is to return to Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Haneda (HND), Tokyo’s primary airport, 9 miles throughout Tokyo Bay and on the metro community, will see BA returning on an preliminary 4 days every week foundation from Sunday 13 November.  The route can be flown by a three-class Boeing 787-9.  Flight time outbound is round 13hrs 30mins with the return (which begins on the Monday) about one hour longer.

The first Hong Kong flight will depart on 5 December.

There can be 4 flights per week till 18 December, at which level a day by day service will resume.  Again it is going to be a three-class plane with the flight time outbound from London 12hrs 30mins and the return 13hrs.

The different Tokyo airport, Narita (NRT), is almost 40 miles from the metropolis with each ANA and Japan Airlines flying from London.
